Get back into exercise with like-minded women

Whether you want to get back into exercising again after having a baby or you feel like you need to challenge your body a little more, this postnatal class is a great way to get fit again after having a baby with other women who also value fitness and wellbeing.

It’s really important that everyone feels welcome when coming into the class and that you feel like you can just enjoy the workout without worrying about how you look or how heavy the weights are. These classes are all about celebrating your body, recognising what it’s achieved by growing a tiny human but also noticing the areas of your fitness to work on. 

You can join these classes provided you’ve had the sign off from your GP and that you feel well within yourself. A rough guide is 8 weeks after a vaginal birth and 12-14 weeks after c-section. 

If you’ve had a baby in the last two years, you’re also very welcome to join too, all of the workouts have modifications to suit your fitness levels right now.

If it’s your first time joining, we ask that you join a short induction which starts 10 minutes before the class.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer 1 class pass, pay-as-you-go or trial classes because we have overheads to maintain and it’s important for us to be able to plan and manage the numbers from week to week.

About the trainer

I’m Olivia, I’m based in beautiful Bath. I qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Pre/Post-natal specialist in 2015 when I realised how much I love to help to motivate other people. I’ve always enjoyed challenging my mind and body and it’s amazing to help others to make the impossible, possible.

When I fell pregnant in 2021, I couldn’t find exercise classes that were challenging and pregnancy or baby-friendly. I setup Bath Mama Fitness to help empower and educate women about the benefits of strength and cardio training during pregnancy and early-stages parenthood. 

Through 1-1 Personal Training and group fitness, I hope to provide inclusive, challenging and feel-good workouts to help mamas be their best selves.
